A "FENCE" FULL OF MASKS.

This story could happen in Anytown, USA, but in this case it happens in Decatur, Illinois at the corners of Mound and Greenridge.  Mrs. Anonymous has, daily, a fresh supply of reversible, colorful masks hanging from a piece of rope fashioned into a type of clothes line.  Originally, she simply had a donation box, but with the pandemic going on and on she now is charging a minimal fee for these well-made of quality-fabric-washable masks.

My daughter has bought more than her fair share for herself, her daughters and various friends.  As Jamie says, "If you gotta' wear a mask, you might as well be comfortable and attractive!

Jamie's masks washed and drying.

Jamie looking comfortable and attractive!

Jamie sports these masks at a Lutheran church in Decatur where she is the assistant director of their day care/school.  👍

Four-Person Book Club!
Macon, Georgia!

I have been in many a book club, but this four-person one is my fave.  In this time of Covid, we meet on my very Southern front porch of my Craftsman Bungalow built in 1921 in Macon, Georgia.  And of course we sip Mint Juleps and nibble from a Charcuterie board.  Well, not always.  Most often it's just red wine, white wine and pistachios.

The books read and loved, loved, loved  (as Jim says) are:  The Glass Castle, Little Fires Everywhere, Family Marriage, Wuthering Heights, All Adults Here, Unsheltered and now The Vanishing Half.  I am currently finishing up The Vanishing Half.   Clearly Wuthering Heights was my least favorite followed perhaps by Family Marriage.  The other ones all tie as great reads.

We'd love to hear what your club is reading.......

Jane.  Remember Chatter Matters.
